Entering into Lowest Greenville Avenue begins at Belmont. The 'neighborhood' vibe is replaced by more of an 'urban' feel.
At night, choose valet parking.
Currently, Lowest Greenville is overcome by construction. Nothing wrong with a little progress though, as several funky new places are entering the Lowest Greenville Ave scene and adding flavor to the environment.
Can't say I've tried it but from what I've heard, it serves excellent pub fare.

Walk in. Place your order. Sit Down. Eat. There you have it. Simple. The Char Bar is all that the name implies with a Greek twist.

Dodie's Seafood - Make your way through the intentionally placed maze of boxes and have a seat in this relaxed seafood place that offers their fish cajun-style.
Original location of one of the best seafood restaurants in Dallas. The quaint ambiance includes candelight, red checked tablecloths and The Blues. Love this place.
John's Cafe, an institution on 'Lower' Greenville for years, it expanded to this 'Lowest' Greenville location in the last strip shopping center on the right before you get to Ross Ave. A hearty breakfast is their strength but burgers are big here as well in fact, I never been disappointed by anything on their menu. Walk in, approach the counter, place your order and find a seat. It's OK to share a table with strangers here.
